A little table talk
Answers to the questions we hear most. Can’t find yours? We’d love to hear from you.
What markets do you serve?
From our home base in Nashville, Tennessee, For the Table serves weddings and celebrations across our home markets, including Nashville, Knoxville, Chattanooga, Memphis, Louisville, Lexington, Bowling Green, Huntsville, and Birmingham. Within these markets, we charge local, standard delivery fees for these markets.
Celebrating somewhere beyond our home markets? We travel nationwide! For events outside our established service areas, travel fees are customized based on distance, event dates, and logistical requirements.
Wherever you're gathering, we'd love to help you set the table.
How Does Your Booking Process Work?
We’ve designed our booking process to be simple and seamless, allowing you to focus on creating a beautifully curated event.

- Submit Your WishlistOnce you’ve selected your pieces, submit your Wishlist for our team to review.
- Receive Your ProposalA member of our team will be in touch to prepare a personalized rental proposal tailored to your selections and event details.
- Refine Your SelectionsReview your proposal and request any adjustments needed to bring your vision together.
- Secure Your DateOnce you’re happy with your selections, sign your rental agreement and submit your 50% deposit to secure your booking.
- Finalize Your OrderYour final payment and confirmed guest count are due 14 days before your event. This allows us to finalize your order and prepare your collection for delivery.
How far in advance should I book my reservation?
We recommend booking 4–6 months before your event to ensure the best selection and availability. As we have multiple home markets and accommodate events throughout the year, inventory can become limited during peak wedding and event seasons.
Please note that inventory is not guaranteed until your rental agreement is signed and your deposit has been received. We encourage you to reserve your collection as early as possible to secure your preferred pieces for your celebration.
Can I make changes to my order after booking?
Once your reservation is confirmed with a signed rental agreement and deposit, your order is considered final. Because we reserve your selected pieces exclusively for your event and may turn away other inquiries for the same inventory, we are unable to make changes to your selections after booking.
We understand that guest counts can fluctuate, which is why we allow adjustments to your item quantities up until your final count is due 14 days before your event. This gives you some flexibility while allowing us to prepare your collection with the care and attention your celebration deserves.
What are your delivery minimums?
To ensure every celebration receives the thoughtful service and attention to detail it deserves, For the Table has a minimum rental order based on your event location. Our home markets are organized into five delivery zones, each with their own minimum.
Our Home Markets & Delivery Minimums
| Zone | Home markets | Minimum |
|---|---|---|
| Zone 1 | Nashville | $1,000 minimum |
| Zone 2 | Bowling Green | $1,250 minimum |
| Zone 3 | Huntsville & Chattanooga | $1,500 minimum |
| Zone 4 | Louisville, Knoxville & Birmingham | $2,000 minimum |
| Zone 5 | Memphis & Lexington | $2,500 minimum |
These minimums apply to tabletop rental orders within our established home markets. For celebrations outside these areas, we offer nationwide travel with customized delivery minimums and travel fees based on distance, event dates, and logistics.
We offer a “micro order” for our Nashville market, at a $350 minimum. This option is designed for smaller rentals that can be accommodated in a standard passenger vehicle with the rear seats folded down. Orders exceeding this capacity may require alternative delivery arrangements and are subject to our standard delivery terms.
What is the damage waiver fee?
Our 10% product damage waiver is designed to provide peace of mind throughout your event. It covers normal wear and tear, such as minor nicks on flatware or light surface scratches on dinnerware.
We understand that small imperfections can happen when items are used and enjoyed, and we don’t believe our clients should be charged for every minor nick or scrape. The damage waiver allows us to account for these everyday occurrences without the worry of additional charges for normal wear and tear.
Please note that the damage waiver does not cover broken, chipped, missing, or stolen items, nor does it cover damage resulting from gross negligence or misuse. The contracted client is responsible for all such items, which will be charged at six times the standard rental rate per item.
This policy also applies to all crates, racks, containers, and other transport or storage materials provided with your rental order.
Do you have a showroom; do you ship samples?
We do not currently have a physical showroom, allowing us to keep our overhead low and offer beautifully curated tabletop rentals at competitive prices.
We understand the importance of seeing and feeling pieces before selecting them for your event. We are happy to ship samples upon request. We kindly ask that clients cover the initial shipping cost, and we will provide a prepaid return shipping label for sending the samples back to us. Should you book your event with us, we will gladly credit the initial sample shipping cost toward your rental order.
For clients in the Nashville market, we also welcome you to schedule an appointment to pick up samples in person.
Our goal is to make selecting the perfect pieces for your celebration as seamless as possible, wherever you are located.
Do you collaborate with other creatives?
We believe collaboration among creatives is essential to exceptional design. We welcome opportunities to partner with like-minded businesses who share our appreciation for thoughtful details, artistic expression, and beautiful gatherings.
As part of our creative collaborations, we offer a 50% concession on select collection items.
In return, we ask that our pieces be handled with the same care and consideration as your own and showcased in their best light. To ensure our collection is accurately represented, we exclusively contribute complete tablescapes featuring our tabletop pieces. We do not accept imagery that incorporates tableware from other rental sources, as this may create confusion regarding the items available through our collection. Due to the high demand during peak event season, we are unable to accommodate collaborations during April, May, June, October, November, and December. We appreciate your understanding and welcome collaboration inquiries during the remaining months of the year.
Travel fees apply to all collaborations.
